United States President, Donald Trump and his wife, Melania have tested positive for COVID-19.
Trump announced this in a tweet on his Twitter page on Friday.
He announced that they will be quarantined and the recovery process will begin immediately.
He tweeted, “Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately.
“We will get through this together.”
The couple had previously tested positive but later tested negative.
Positive COVID-19 test: Trump’s physician releases Statement
Sean Conley, White House physician, has issued a statement on the COVID-19 test result of United States President Donald Trump and wife, Melania.
Conley addressed his letter to Kayleigh Mcenany, Assistant to President and White House Press Secretary.
The doctor said information was released with the permission of the American leader and his spouse.
He wrote: “This evening I received confirmation that both President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
