It’s with no doubt that Nigerians are still yet to recover from the unfortunate incident that has bedeviled it some weeks back.

Following the peaceful protest that was embarked upon by the Nigerian youths calling on the government of the day to disband the police arm called SARS and to also bring to an end the era of bad governance which turned violent as it was hijacked by hoodlums and hence resulting in the destruction of lives and properties.

Even though many Nigerian have blamed the president for being so reluctant in addressing the protesters early enough to avert what happened.

As if that was not enough, after normalcy and calm has returned, reports has it that the government have sent security agencies to hunt after all those who were at the forefront of the protest, arrest and detain them.

Unfortunately the account of some of those who lead the protests have been frozen and if care is not taken, this act by the government may result in another second wave of protest.

A former senator in person of Shehu Sani has always been on the twitter platform constantly sharing his views and opinions on the different matters including the SARS had earlier today taken to his handle to dropped a very important message that I guess is saying the mind of millions of Nigerians.

Check out his tweet below:

“Many of those encouraging or defending the arrest and prosecution of the ENDSARS protesters today would either regret their action or disassociate themselves from it beyond 2023. We have been through this history with those who sided with prosecution during military regime”.
