Reality TV stars, Kiddwaya and Erica have taken to social media to take friendly jibes at each other to the amusement of their fans.

It all started when Kiddwaya opened the floor for a Question and Answer session to his fans and Erica asked him why he couldn’t speak ‘pidgin english’ properly. The Abuja based big boy left no prisoner as he replied Erica asking why she can’t cook.

Well, the conversation sparked more details the duo ought not to have told the public except they’re showboating

The second runner-up in the recently concluded Big Brother Naija (Lockdown Edition), Rebecca Hampson, better known as Nengi, has opened up on why she did not sleep on any man’s bed during the reality television show.

The former beauty queen, who hails from Bayelsa State, noted that she decided to create boundaries from the beginning of the competition. Speaking with media personality, Hero Daniels, Nengi said, “The housemates felt I wanted every guy and that is crazy. How could I want every guy and still not be with anybody in the house? I never slept on any man’s bed. Even as close as me and Ozo were, I still tried to set a boundary. I could play with people but for me, there would always be boundaries and nobody can cross them. However, people took it the wrong way. They felt since I played with the guys, I must have wanted them. That was the biggest misconception people had about me. As a matter of fact, that was one of the reasons I went for Big Brother in the first place. I wanted to correct the misconception that I was just a fine face. And I feel I corrected that notion.”

Revealing a bit about her childhood, the pretty reality TV star stated that she grew up with her mother and her father was ‘never really there’. “My dad was never really there. I can count the number of times I saw him. So, I grew up with my mum and she was the only one I knew. She struggled to take care of me but the love between us is deep. Even if we didn’t have anything, I was always happy. We would be in our house and manage our lives. However, she died when things were becoming good. She added.

On her chemistry with Ozo, Nengi said, “We are from two totally different backgrounds and that was it for me. I also knew he would always accept me for who I am. He knows who I am and does not judge me based on mistakes I have made.”

Yeah, this actually happened- a Nollywood actor, director, and filmmaker actually quit the movie industry and went to the United States of America to seek greener pastures.

His name is Femi Ogedengbe and justifying his mind boggling decision, he told reporters that he has achieved more as a security guard than he did as an actor in Nigeria. “Oh yes! I am now a security guard in the USA and so what? Well, I have only been doing this for a little more than one year now and I can boldly say without any shame that what I have achieved more than I did in my father’s land being an actor/director/producer for over twenty-something years

.”

“In fact, the stories about most pan-Africa Leaders like Mandela, Kwame Nkrumah, Julius Nyerere, Robert Mugabe and a host of the generation after them were all involved in one menial job or the other across western countries to support their education. But today, we can only remember them for being great African leaders and not for the dirty jobs they had to do on their road to greatness. Indeed the end justifies the means.”

Before his move, Oogedengbe was a popular actor in Nigeria. He was known for movies such as “Onilara” (2008), “She Is My Sister” (2007) and “She is My Sister 2” (2007).

What is your take on this scenario? Let’s get a feedback.

Rebecca Nengi Hampson alongside other housemates had the opportunity to showcase their talents to viewers across the world on the Big Brother Naija show. After the show ended, Nengi revealed that she was open to opportunities and she would be willing to try acting if the opportunity should present itself.

Not quite long ago, it seemed like Nengi’s dream had come through when it was disclosed that she had jet-off to South Africa to take part in a movie production. From rumors, Nengi is to play the lead role in the remake of the popular movie “Nneka The Pretty Serpent”

Hours ago, Nengi was spotted in South Africa in the company of Ramsey Nouah and other people who seem to be actors, actresses and members of the production team.

If the rumors are true and Nengi is about to play the lead role in “Nneka The Pretty Serpent”, I would advice her to quit that role immediately for her own good. It feels somehow to know that the first movie of such a young lady’s career would be that of a ‘Pretty Serpent’. The first movie a person features in is usually what they would be popularly known for in the movie industry.

Nengi should not rush into anything. Let her wait for a more befitting movie role to come her way.

Dear reader, what do you think about this role Nengi is about to feature in?

If you had the opportunity to give Nengi one advice right now, what would you say to her in order for her to reconsider her actions?

Nigerian pop star, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, on Sunday joined the #EndSARS campaign by calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to protect Nigerians.

The singer in a recent interview with sheilaozons a US based Radio/TV personality  @Afrozons  talks about the #EndSARS movement, explains what the hashtag means for people abroad, and why he chose to speak up about it on @AfroZons.

It is not news that the country is in the state of pandemonium and the citizens have taken to their respective social media platforms to express their views on the excesses of Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).

When asked “how he’s going to explain what is happening in Nigeria to the people abroad who aren’t aware of it”

Wizkid had this to say “Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) is a special unit in the Nigeria Police Force that was  was established to detain, investigate and prosecute people involved in crimes like armed robbery, kidnapping and other forms of crimes” .

In other words, they are meant to protect the people but in recent time, they became threat to the citizens like brutalising, extorting, and even killing them for no reason.

The unit has been accused of several human rights violations especially of young Nigerians who are seen carrying laptop computers.
Every young person isn’t a criminal. I’ve experienced SARS brutality many times and was fortunate to stay alive, not every other person was as fortunate .

Further speaking, He said if he has a platform like this and didn’t say anything about what is happening in his country, then He is a coward. Besides he has growing kids, his son is in Lagos and wants something different for him. So the world needs to know what is happening in Nigeria.
