In a letter, it is demanding non-profit FIWFA also renames its planned “World Cup” in Manchester next year in case it “jeopardises Fifa’s ability to organise future Fifa World Cups”.

FIWFA chiefs were stunned at the requests and accompanying legal threats.

They launched in 2018 for people in their 50s, 60s and 70s — many of them recovering from illness.

Their game is non-contact with no running or offside.

There are 60,000 or so players in England and 53 countries play the game.

FIWFA chief exec Paul Carr, 65, who plays for Wigan Walkers, said: “The bullying nature of Fifa’s letter was staggering.

“We’ve no intention to be like Fifa and we’ve never experienced any confusion.

“I don’t expect fans to be flying in expecting to see Ronaldo and Messi at our next event. We’re not wealthy like Fifa yet we’re in a position where we have to fight this or fold to it.”

Chelsea football club are preparing to have their first game of the season with Brighton on Monday in the 2020/2021 premier league season.

The blues have been seen as more than ready to start the campaign having brought in new players like Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Thiago Silva and Ben Chiwell. With these additions to the club it should be noted that some players are meant to leave the club

The likes of Willian who just joined Arsenal, Pedro also left the club and recently Crystal palace just got a loan deal for Mitchy Batswayii. Although there are rumours that the likes of Jorginho, Kante, Emerson or Giroud might still leave the club too.

The recent one is Bakayoko who has been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan but a deal is yet to be agreed upon as the club is only ready to pay £25m as against £30m in which Chelsea are requesting for.

Crystal palace might be looking to jump on the deal iilf Milan fails to agree on the price but this time Palace have to settle for an actual transfer price as they are not allowed to loan him according to the premier league transfer rule.

The long awaited second summer signing for Manchester United seems to be at their reach. This is after locking horns in long discussions over a move with Real Madrid previously wanting a buy back clause inserted in any possible deal. But there has been a huge turn around on the negotiations as Zidane Zidane has acknowledged the sale of Sergio Reguilon without inserting any clause in any possible sale.

Sergio Reguilon has seen a major rise as he played for Seville on loan with the player winning the best full back in La Liga for the 2019/2020 season. But Real Madrid’s head coach deemed him surplus as he has options in Marcelo and Mendy for the position which Sergio Reguilon would have fought for.

A deal to Manchester United might be imminent after this major development with the player spotter earlier on training alone away from the main group confirming the possibility of a deal.

If added to their squad, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United would have moved a step closer to be challenging for major trophies next season.
