Rita Daniels, mother of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has reacted to the 48-hour ultimatum given to the people of the Igbo tribe to evacuate from Lagos and all other Western States in Nigeria.

Sharing the video on her page, she wrote

“WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT SHOULD MAKE US WISER!

The President threat or speech yesterday broke us but thought us many hard lessons.
Myself and so many others couldn’t sleep last night… We were broken!!!!!!
We protested for 12 days without vandalisation12 days of rejecting bribe,12 days of caring and looking out for each other.12 days of giving free medical care and legal services,
Brands, both national and international Celebrities, Churches all protested… influencial people were lobbied to add their voice…
At the protest grounds, the Christians gave room for the Muslims to have their Jumat prayers
The Christians had their service on Sunday…
There was a candlelight service held all over the nation for fallen heroes, Youths despite the hard economy spent their personal money cooking for each other.
No one knew who was a Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa, or Edo… We ate together and danced together.
For 12 days, These were organised without a formal leader with just social media tweets, retweets, post, shares with a harshtag.
For 12 days we built the Nigeria of our dreams…
And built their nightmare… And they got scared.
They know if we’re united we would have one voice, If we have one voice, we have power. And if we have that power… WE WOULD DEMAND A BETTER NIGERIA.
If we’re united and not fighting how would they budget money for security to calm insurgency? How will they create religious fights and make money?
So they sponsored hoodlums to disrupt the protest… But we overpowered these hoodlums by getting our own private securities and security dogs to protest grounds.
When the military who were ordered by “Powers beyond their control” to shoot,
When the guns were fired,
They didn’t care who was a Muslim or Christian, They didn’t care who was Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Calabar or Urhobo.
They killed unarmed people sitting down and singing the anthem.
But when they want to instigate tribal wars and religious unrest, they remind you of your tribe and religion,
When they want to make use of you for their selfish gain, they tell you to unite and take side with “your people” they remind you that you should be one.
Do you all remembered.”

One of the suspected hoodlums hired to attack #EndSARS protesters in Abuja has naively exposed those that allegedly hired him and others to unleash violence on the demonstrators.

The hoodlum exposed their alleged sponsors on tape while having a chat with a man at the Unity Square, Abuja, where they had convened.

It was obvious from the viral social media video that the suspect did not know that he was being recorded.

The hoodlum, who revealed that he had once suffered SARS brutality, however, said that he agreed to the job because of the money they were promised.

“See wetin SARS do me for hand,” the suspected hoodlum said in pidgin English, adding that, “Na the money I dey follow na….God punish them (SARS)” when asked why he agreed to do the job.

Asked how much he was paid, he said: “them never pay, but them go still pay us, so far na them chatter our motor”.

Asked who chattered the vehicle that brought them, he responded: “They are around…na APC people na”

But when the person he was chatting with pressed him further to reveal the identity of the alleged sponsors, he said: “Both the PDP and APC are together.”

Some of the youths seen in the background of the video were carrying placards and wearing T-shirts with the inscription “we support SWAT”.

SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics Team) is the new squad recently announced to replace the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad by the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

“I’ve No One Besides This Child, But I’ve Accepted My Fate” – Isiaka’s Father Says, Cries In A Video

It is no longer news that a young boy, Jimoh Isiaka whose name has been trending on social media especially on Twitter was allegedly shot dead by a police officer in Ogbomoso, Oyo state while watching the people protesting against SARS.

Isiaka was reported to be shot by one of the men of the Nigeria Police Force while trying to scatter the angry protesters. He was buried after reported dead at Bowen Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso according to the Islamic rite in his hometown.

After the incident which caused a lot of mixed reactions on social media, the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, also conveyed his consolation and dissatisfaction with the killing of the young boy during the #EndSARS protest in the Ogbomoso area of the state.

The governor also requested an investigation into the death of Isiaka, assuring that he would personally visit the deceased family to physically express his condolence.

Nonetheless, the Oyo State Police Command refuted killing Isiaka by alleging that its men only discharged teargas at the protesters to disperse them without the intention of killing anyone.

Few hours after the burial of Isiaka of Ogiri compound, Ita Alasa, a video of his depressed father surfaced online whereby he was spotted being condoled by some people but he kept saying that he has accepted his fate.(Jimoh Isiaka’s father in green Ankara fabrics sitting on a bench)

Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as”Daddy Freeze” made some revlations in a recent interview with SAharaTV in Lagos. Daddy Freeze who is the convener of the #Freesheepie movement laid out his reasons for starting the movement aimed at helping Christians entrapped by the deceptive gospel of prosperity preaching pastor to free themselves.

The outspoken broadcaster also revealed why his movement is against”Tithing”and the wrong practices going on in churches led by Pentecostal Pastors who are fleeting their congregants in Nigeria.

Daddy Freeze also mentioned some Pastors who he said collected tithes that were used to build schools that their members could not afford to send their kids and wards to and said he goes after these pastors who own private jets at the expense of their poor members.

MUST READ:

Asked why he doesn’t preach against Muslim clerics and politicians with the same passion, he said that he is not too knowledgeable about Islamic doctrines but was quick to say he hasn’t seen a Muslim cleric with a private jet, regardless of the size of their congregation.

Recall that Scooper News reported that Daddy Freeze was at the centre of chaos last week after he insulted Bishop Oyedepo, which in turn made other pastors cursed him.

The first pastor that attacked him over his statement to Bishop Oyedepo was Pastor David Ibiyieomie who threatened to kill him and even called him a”b*stard.”

The Nigerian public was still debating on if it was right for Pastor David Ibiyieomie was right in insulting, threatening the ace broadcaster when another pastor joined the flurry.

Dunamis International Church founder, Pastor David Eneche was the next to attack the OAP for attacking Bishop Oyedepo.

BOOM!! RCCG Pastor Tells Enenche, Ibiyeomie To Apologise To Daddy Freeze For Using Curse Words

Meanwhile, A pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church by name Nkechi Jehovah has asked the duo of Pastor Paul Enenche and Pastor David Ibiyeomie to apologize to the Church and their congregation over the abusive and curse words they deployed on Daddy Freeze

Nkechi is said to be a former music director of a Region of the RCCG in Rivers State. She featured prominently in all the major programmes of the Church at the Redemption Camp.

But in a video post, she expressed great displeasure at the division in the Church in the last two weeks over the issue of Daddy Freeze as a result of the insults Freeze poured on Bishop David Oyedepo.

While demanding that the Pastors should apologize she said, ‘The Church is going through perfection. God is calling us not to counter our prayers as a result of what we say.

‘God is not happy that the Church is divided because a mortal man was insulted. God is our father. We can’t afford to dishonour God the father because a mortal man was insulted. Show me in the scriptures where Christians resisted persecution. Did Stephen curse his persecutors?’

“Did you not read that vengeance is of the Lord? A wild and abusive preacher will produce an abusive congregation. The Bible says you ought not to curse and. Bless at the same time.’

Nkechi who quoted several scriptures to buttress her position wondered why the pastors were using curse words on the pulpit.

She said they need to repent. ‘ God can use anybody to chastise his servants. He used the fish to teach Jonah a lesson. God used the thorn in the flesh of Paul to humble him. God used a donkey to warn Balaam.

What if God is using the insults to check the level of your humility? If you can’t take ordinary insult, can you surrender your head for Jesus like the apostles did?’ she lamented.

She said further, ‘what if God decides to expose your own secrets. Paul said I die daily.

Are we not supposed to carry our cross and follow the Lord daily? I wonder if the rapture took place while you were cursing, will you make it to heaven? What have you suffered for Christ?’

The RCCG pastor said Jesus was flogged, he was spat on, wondering what the pastors have gone through to warrant the rain of curse on the pulpit.

Pastors who curse according to her are sending a wrong signal. ‘We are not trouble makers. We are called to make peace. You are going to apologize. I may be a nobody, but I am a voice to the nation.
