On seeing these pictures, many Nigerians went into investigation and concluded they were fake and photoshopped.
Some persons called her a liar while some went as far as calling her a clout chaser. Seeing as Dangote didn’t react publicly to her claims, people felt she was actually lying.
The sensational clip comes a day after an American restauranteur alleged that Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, dated her and broke her heart in ‘‘1000 pieces.’’
The controversy over Aliko Dangote is turning murkier by the day. On New Year’s Day, an American restauranteur identified as Bea Lewis, broke the internet when she alleged that the Nigerian industrialist, dated her and broke her heart in ‘‘1000 pieces.’’
Few hours ago, she took to her Instagram story to post another photo and also give a piece of her mind.
Seh wrote, “I do not know how to use Photoshop or face altering apps. Not do I sneak and take pictures while the person is looking away.”
Attached to the post was another picture she allegedly took with Dangote after a routine workout.
The Association of Bureau De Change Operators (ABCON) has appealed to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to make BDCs payout agents for diaspora remittances.
According to information from Abokifx – a prominent FX tracking website, at the black?market where forex is traded unofficially,?the Naira remained stable against the Dollar to close at N470/$1 on Thursday – the same rate that it exchanged for on Wednesday, December 30.
– The local currency had strengthened by about 7.8% within one week in September at the black market, as the CBN introduced some measures targeted at exporters and importers.
– This is to boost the supply of dollars in the foreign exchange market and reduce the high demand for forex by traders.
– However, the gains appear to have been completely erased with the recent crash of the exchange rate.
– The CBN has sold over $1 billion to BDCs since they resumed forex sales on Monday, September 7, 2020.
– This was expected to inject more liquidity into the retail end of the foreign exchange market and discourage hoarding and speculation.
– However, the exchange rate against the dollar has remained volatile after the initial gains made, following the CBN’s resumption of sales of dollars to the BDCs.
– Despite the CBN’s intervention, the huge demand backlog by manufacturers and foreign investors still puts pressure and creates a volatile situation in the foreign exchange market.
– The Naira depreciated against the?dollar at the Investors and?Exporters (I&E) window on Thursday, closing?at N410.25/$1.
– This represents a N16.25 drop when compared to the N394/$1 that it exchanged for on Wednesday, December 30.
– The opening indicative rate was N392.88 to a dollar on Thursday. This represents a 7 kobo gain when compared to the N392.95 that was recorded on Wednesday.
– The N412.05 to a dollar was the highest rate during intra-day trading before, it still closed at N410.25 to a dollar. It also sold for as low as N385/$1 during intra-day trading.
Forex turnover: Forex turnover at the Investor and Exporters (I&E) window increased by 43% ?on Thursday,?December 31, 2020.
– According to the data tracked by Nairametrics from FMDQ,?forex turnover rose from $164.81?million?on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, to?$235.75?million?on Thursday,?December 31,?2020.
– The CBN is still struggling to clear the backlog of foreign exchange demand, especially by foreign investors wishing to repatriate their funds.
– The increase in dollar supply after last week’s drop reinforces the volatility of the foreign exchange market. The supply of dollars has been on a decline for months due to low oil prices and the absence of foreign capital inflow into the country.
– The average daily forex sale for last week was about $169.93 million, which represents a huge increase from the $34.5 million that was recorded the previous week.
– Total forex trading at the NAFEX window in the month of September was about $1.98 billion, compared to $843.97 million in August.
– The exchange rate is still being affected by low oil prices, dollar scarcity, a backlog of forex demand, and a shaky economy that has been hit by the coronavirus pandemic.

Here’s another markedly unusual story brought right to your screen. With the way things are going, there’s nothing impossible on Nigerian soil. Just yesterday, a man was seen on a buildings’ rooftop at Okpokpor Street in Okpara – Inland in Ethiope – East LGA, Delta State with a 100 naira note in his hands. Sitting there like he lost something.
As you’d have guessed with other weird experiences in Nigeria, it didn’t take long for others to gather outside to witness the event.
Unable to do anything, the man stood on the edge of the rooftop with the 100 naira note in his hands kept looking from left to right. As if he lost something precious.
While some people kept raising their voices at the unconcerned man, asking him about who he was and where he came from | Another set of people kept accusing him of being a wizard toying with the lives of the people in the community.
The man didn’t even say anything to defend himself. As you can see in the video below, the man just stood there doing nothing about the people underneath him.
The people Okpokpor Street later forced him down the roof and beat the hell out of him. They dragged him all around town – raining down heavy curses on him.
Eventually, the whole drama ended when a vigilante rescued him from the hands of the angry who almost burnt him to death.
Upon reaching the compound of the vigilante, he was forced to confess all his sins.
According to his story, the community deity ‘Igberhe juju’ was chasing him and when he ran out of fuel, he crashes landed on the roof. The 100 naira seen on him was to refuel his vehicle. Very weird right?

It is a tortuous journey for Eromosele Adene, an #EndSARS protester, as he will be arraigned before a Chief Magistrate in Lagos on Tuesday.
The embattled youth was arrested in Lagos on November 7 by the police and whisked to Abuja, the nation’s capital days later.
Eromosele is charged with allegations of aiding the #EndSARS protest in Lagos.
The case was initially scheduled to hold on Monday on allegations of financial support to the youth protest that was later hijacked by hoodlums in some states in the country.
His sister, Onomene, had explained that she was used as bait by a group of security operatives to get to her brother.
Onomene, who was a guest recently on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, said she got a call from a man who claimed to be a former church member and who had a parcel to deliver to her father who is the pastor of the church.
On getting to the meeting venue, she stated that she could not figure out the man’s face, and as she approached him, she discovered that the parcel was not what the man claimed it was.
Eromosele’s sister added that they were later joined on the spot by more policemen before she was asked to take them to their house where the embattled protester was arrested.
She condemned the arrested of her brother and called for his release, saying he has a liver infection, and his continued detention was harmful to his health.

Businessman and Socialite Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure’s death has sparked debate on mainstream and social media regarding the source of his wealth and his life in general.
On social media, Genius Kadungure was the boss, he was a larger than life character, with followers who adored him.
While many saw him as a party animal, his manager of seven years Shaleen Nullens says he was a hard worker, with over 200 employees in Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa.
“Ginimbi was a hard worker, he was focused and wanted results; he was also very innovative and had a business acumen and knew which deals to strike,” she said.
His maid of 15 years, Ms Fatuma Chikowore dismissed allegations that her former boss was involved with the underworld.
“I have known Ginimbi for 15 years, he was a good boss with a good heart always ready to step in. What social media is saying about rituals is utter nonsense, there is no sacred room in this house and whenever he was around he would spend most of his time home,” she said.
The community says it has lost its anchor.
“He was our umbrella and whenever we encountered problems he would assist, he brought development to our area,” said the village head man.
While many will remember him as a flamboyant social media character, to the people of Domboshava he will forever be remembered as the man who brought America to Domboshava as evidenced by his expensive fleet of imported cars and his mansion.
Ginimbi is expected to be buried at his Domboshava homestead this Saturday.

When he was asked about a child who would survive Ginimbi, the father mentioned a secret son Ginimbi had but could not recall his name since he had little knowledge of him.
These boys would jump from one woman to the other, so you would never understand them. We only know of one, but I don’t know the name since we did not stay with him/her,”

In an interview with Channels TV this morning, Amachree said the camcorder discovered by the Minister looked planted.
‘‘After so many days, we saw a camcorder in plain view. Are they saying that camera was there and nobody knew about the presence of that camera? It was in plain view and the Minister went and removed it.
Who planted it? That is what we want to know. It was planted because there is no way..That Camcoder looks planted because there is no way that it will be plain view in one of the booths.
How come it was there and nobody saw it. There are mobile phone providers that went there to look at their lines that were damaged. Nobody saw that camera. It is not so tiny.
I am very interested in that camera. What is in it? Whoever planted it there must have also loaded it with something” Amachree said

A Lawyer got into a confused state of mind after reporters asked him some deep questions that he couldn’t give a straightforward answer to after he filed a petition against DJ Switch and other celebrities for spreading fake news. This lawyer appeared before the judiciary panel of inquiry and filed a petition against DJ Switch, Falz and other celebrities for spreading fake news on social media. He made it clear that those celebrities that were mentioned in the petition should appear before the judiciary panel of inquiry and confirm to them where they got their news from.
Moments after he filed the petition, Reporters were waiting for him so that he could speak with them and these intelligent reporters used his words against him. The lawyer came out and they asked him about the petition, he told the reporters that
“The Government decided to accept the 5 for 5 demands that the protesters out forward days ago but the protests didn’t stop because of the Fake News that these celebrities have posted on Social media. Even though after the Lekki shootings, Fake News has already done more bad than good. He said that Fake News is responsible for the large carnage and destruction of properties in Lagos and other states”
“We went to call the attention of the panel to major issues like this so that they can invite those celebrities that posted unverified information on social media so that they can verify their claims in front of the panel”
One of the reporters threw a question at him and said
“For the past one week, every thing that the Government put out as the truth has turned out to be false by their own admission, why should the public be believing the government rather than the people who are posting on social media?”
Another reporter added to the question and said
“If this your petition is against those that spread fake news these past few days, why didn’t you include the military and the government?”
The lawyer replied and said
“We are a non government organization”
The reporter cut his words and asked
“Why are you then interested in this case”
The lawyer replied and said that
“Because we are Nigerians, the lives of every Nigerian matters to us and we must speak out for them, the government and the military may have used social media to spread their news but our own is for the panel to call those who are responsible for fake news”
A reporter asked him and said
“But the Government has made more false claims these past few days?”
The lawyer (who is now under pressure) replied and said
“The government is inclusive in this petition”
The reporters then asked him that is he now saying that the Government made false claims?
The lawyer replied and said that the confirmation is left to the panel to decide.
The reporters then questioned him again and said that
“But the Government made false claims on social medka which they later refuted on social media, isn’t that a false news?”
The lawyer replied and said YES, Its A False News (after initially saying that the panel would decide). He later said he won’t answer anymore questions as he walked away.
